Vivo, via a press release, has now confirmed that it will be showcasing the X300 Ultra smartphone at MWC 2026, which will be held in Barcelona from March 2nd to March 5th. This more or less confirms that Vivo plans to launch the X300 Ultra in the global markets as well. Though this was already hinted at, as the device had been spotted on multiple global regulatory authorities.
Along with the X300 Ultra, Vivo has also confirmed that it will be showcasing other smartphones in the X300 series, namely the X300 and X300 Pro. The recently launched Vivo V70 series and the X Fold 5 will also be showcased during the event.
The press note further mentions that the Vivo X300 Ultra is the “most advanced exploration to date in mobile imaging and videography.” While the press note only highlights the above products, a check on the official MWC website also reveals the Vivo Watch 3, which is expected to be showcased at the event.
As for its launch timeline, the X300 Ultra is expected to debut in China in March. Meanwhile, a new detail has revealed the expected launch window for the Indian market. This information comes from tipster gadgetsdata, who shared the update via a post on X. According to the tipster, Vivo is planning to launch the X300 Ultra in India as well, with a release expected in Q2 2026.
In China, the device is likely to arrive in two versions — a standard variant and a satellite communication variant. However, the global market will most likely receive the standard version.
