Vivo X300 Ultra & Vivo X300s: New camera features revealed
The Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300S models are revealed to arrive with Bluprint Original Colour and Vivo Colour Science. There will also be two new film tones for the devices:
- Chasing Light- Simulates the faded texture of negative film, with lower colour saturation and softer contrast, resulting in more pleasing overall photos with a subtle old-movie tone, adding a sense of story.
- Rich- The style and colours are richer, with sharper contrast, brighter colours, and a more vivid and powerful image. The contrast between light and dark is stronger than with “Chasing Light”, creating a warmer and more eye-catching visual experience.
Both models support a total of over ten classic camera styles. There is also a more personalised “Blueprint Palette” for advance color style needs:
- Palette mode- Allows for quick adjustments based on existing styles
- Advanced mode- Supports up to 12 advanced adjustment items, including 5 newly added special adjustment tools- Soft Light, Halo, Grain, Warm Enhancement, and Cool Enhancement, each with independent strength adjustments.
- Share your formula- The ‘Blueprint Palette’ exclusively supports sharing personal colour formulas to social media platforms, and formulas can also be imported. You can not only share photos but also share your colour grading experiences.
V-Shot packs all kinds of film-like tones into the camera, and with the more personalised Blueprint Palette.
Apart from this, Vivo X300 Ultra boasts top-tier capabilities across its entire focal length:
- 4K 120fps 10-bit Log across all focal lengths
- 4K 120fps Dolby Vision across all focal lengths
- 4K 120fps Cinematic Slow Motion across all focal lengths
- 4K 60fps Portrait video across all focal lengths
- 4K Time-lapse video across all focal lengths
There is also video stabilisation. The Vivo X300 Ultra’s 200MP telephoto lens debuts with “3” OIS, providing gimbal-level stabilisation performance, while the 30x zoom recording is also effortless. The Ultra model also gets two brand-new cinematic styles:
- Film Style- A standard 2.4:1 widescreen aspect ratio, combined with a 24fps golden cinematic frame rate and motion blur effect, instantly creates a cinematic feel. It also features film halo and graininess, delivering classic cinematic quality with a single click.
- Film look- A 16:9 aspect ratio and a smoother 60fps high frame rate, it creates a cinematic cyan and orange hue, resulting in a colour atmosphere closer to cinematic quality.
