Vivo recently announced the launch of its Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Lite smartphones in India, and the microsite for these upcoming devices has already been made live on Flipkart, Amazon, and the Vivo India website.
The company has already revealed most of the details related to these upcoming models, and today it has officially announced their Indian launch date as well.
Vivo V70 & Vivo V70 Elite: Indian launch date confirmed
The Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Lite devices will launch in the Indian market on 19th February at 12 PM.

Both smartphones will come with a 6.59-inch 1.5K Ultra Clear OLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness, and HDR support. Along with this, the V70 lineup will also feature a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor with “3D anti-spoofing technology”, IP68/IP69-rated protection, and wet touch support.
The models will feature a triple rear camera setup co-developed with Zeiss. This includes a 50MP OIS Sony IMX766 main sensor, a 50MP “Night Telephoto” Sony IMX882 sensor with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, and an ultra-wide lens. On the front, there is also a 50MP sensor, co-developed with Zeiss.
Both smartphones are confirmed to come with a 6,500mAh battery, support 90W fast charging, and offer multi-scenario bypass charging. The V70 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, while the V70 Elite will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, with an AnTuTu V11 score of 1,889,405. The smartphones will come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with one of the memory options for the V70 Elite being 8GB + 256GB.
OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, will be available on both smartphones, offering features such as AI Creation, Origin Island Drag and Go, One Tap Transfer, and the Vivo Office Kit. Meanwhile, the AI Photography Suite will include features like AI Magic Weather, AI Floral Blessing, Wedding Style 2.0, AI Magic Weather, and India’s exclusive AI Holi Portrait. The company has promised four major OS upgrades along with six years of security patch updates for the devices.
The Vivo V70 model will be available in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow colours, while the V70 Elite model will be available in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black colours.
