Vivo V70 and V70 Elite confirmed to arrive with Zeiss Optics, Sony Sensors and AI features

Just recently, we shared with you that the microsite for the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite smartphones has been made live on Flipkart, and the devices are teased to launch soon in the Indian market.

Well, Vivo has now officially revealed some key details of these upcoming devices, and their microsite is also live on Vivo India’s website.

Vivo V70 & Vivo V70 Elite: Key details confirmed

The V70 series features a 6.59-inch Golden Grip size and 1.25mm ultra-narrow side bezels. The Vivo V70 model will be available in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow colours, while the V70 Elite model will be available in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black colours.

Both smartphones feature a 50MP Zeiss Night Telephoto camera powered by the Sony IMX882 sensor, delivering enhanced clarity, depth, and detail even in challenging low-light conditions. The camera offers 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom for versatile shooting. They also sport a 50MP Zeiss OIS main camera powered by the Sony IMX766 sensor and a 50MP Zeiss selfie camera, while there is also a Zeiss ultra-wide-angle rear camera. With a category-leading 1.3cm sensor and Zeiss Multifocal portrait, portraits feel more intentional and cinematic.

Users can also record 4K 60fps video with clean and stable 1x, 2x, and 3x zoom clarity. The AI Photography Suite includes AI Magic Weather, AI Floral Blessing, Wedding Style 2.0, AI Magic Wearther and India’s exclusive AI Holi Portrait. The Vivo V70 Elite model is powered by an X-axis linear motor.

The Vivo V70 Elite smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC (1,889,405 AnTuTu score), and the Vivo V70 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. Both devices feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, while there is also a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The series runs on OriginOS 6, which will offer features like AI Creation, Origin Island Drag and Go, One Tap Transfer, and vivo office kit. The series is teased to arrive with a 6500 mAh battery, support 90W fast charging and multi-scenario bypass charging. They feature IP68 & IP69 rating, 1.5K Ultra Clear OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, and 5000 nits brightness. Both models will receive 4 OS upgrades and 6 years of security patches.

The company is expected to soon announce the launch date of these two smartphones, though a previous report revealed that the devices could launch in mid-February in India. Stay tuned for all the updates.
