Vivo V70 5G and Vivo V70 Elite 5G with 6500 mAh battery and 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera sensor launched in India
As earlier announced, Vivo has today officially introduced its all-new Vivo V70 5G and Vivo V70 Elite 5G smartphones in the Indian market.
Vivo V70 & V70 Elite: Features
Both smartphones features 6.59-inch 1.5K Ultra Clear OLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness, and HDR support. Along with this, the V70 lineup also features a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor with “3D anti-spoofing technology” and wet touch support.
The models sport a triple rear camera setup co-developed with Zeiss. This includes a 50MP OIS Sony IMX766 main sensor, a 50MP “Night Telephoto” Sony IMX882 sensor with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, and an ultra-wide lens. On the front, there is also a 50MP sensor, co-developed with Zeiss.
Both smartphones come with a 6,500mAh battery, support 90W fast charging, and offer multi-scenario bypass charging. The V70 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, while the V70 Elite is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, with an AnTuTu V11 score of 1,889,405. The smartphones offer LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, is available on both smartphones, offering features such as AI Creation, Origin Island Drag and Go & Copy and Go, One Tap Transfer, Flip Cards, Morphing Animation, 3D Spatial Scene Wallpaper, Morphing Animation and the Vivo Office Kit. Meanwhile, the AI Photography Suite includes features like AI Magic Weather, AI Floral Blessing, Wedding Style 2.0, AI Magic Landscape, AI Photo Enhance, AI Audio Noise Eraser and India’s exclusive AI Holi Portrait. The company has promised 4 major OS upgrades along with 6 years of security patch updates for the devices.
Other features include: golden grip size, 0.125cm ultra-thin bezels, aerospace-grade aluminium alloy frame, metallic camera module, 4200mm2 VC Smart Cooling System, X-axis linear motor, 4D Gaming Vibration, IP68/IP69 rating, SGS 5-star drop resistance rating, AI Search, AI Creation, dual-bridge signal concurrency, and One Tap transfer.
Vivo V70 & V70 Elite: Availability
The Vivo V70 model will be available in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow colours, while the V70 Elite model will be available in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black colours.
