Vivo T4R 5G launched in India with 6.77-inch Quad-Curved AMOLED display, Dimensity 7400, 50MP Sony sensor, 2 Major OS upgrades and more

Vivo has launched the fifth smartphone in the T4 series in the Indian market, called the Vivo T4R 5G. In terms of design and specifications, it is quite similar to the recently launched iQOO Z10R 5G.
Vivo T4R 5G Specs and Features
It features a 6.77-inch Quad-Curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, SGS low blue light certification, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. At just 7.39mm thick, it is being touted as India’s slimmest quad-curved display smartphone.
Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, built on a 4nm process. It scores over 750K on AnTuTu and is designed to offer smooth performance for multitasking and gaming. It includes Ultra Game Mode and a large graphite cooling system to manage thermal output during prolonged usage. The phone comes with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and supports up to 12GB of additional extended RAM, paired with up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The rear camera sports a 50MP Sony IMX882 main rear sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) + 2MP Bokeh Camera sensor, along with a 32MP front camera. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording. Vivo has also included features like Aura Light, underwater photography mode, and AI-assisted tools for editing, such as AI Erase 2.0 and Photo Enhance.
The device packs a 5700mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging. Vivo claims that the battery is optimised to deliver extended usage while keeping the phone lightweight and slim. It also comes with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification, SGS five-star drop resistance, and Diamond Shield glass protection on the front.
The T4R 5G is further enhanced with several AI tools aimed at productivity and convenience, such as AI Documents, AI Screen Translation, Circle to Search, AI Note Assist, and AI Transcript Assist. It runs on Android 15 and is eligible for 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches.
Pricing and Availability
The open sale will begin from August 5th, 2025, in two colour options, Arctic White and Twilight Blue. It is priced at ₹17,499 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, ₹19,499 for the 8GB + 256GB model, and ₹21,499 for the 12GB + 256GB configuration, including the additional bank discount. The smartphone can be purchased via Flipkart, the Vivo India e-store, and select retail outlets.
Launch offers include an instant bank discount (HDFC, ICICI, and Axis Bank) of ₹2,000 or an exchange bonus of ₹2,000, along with no-cost EMI options for up to six months. These offers will be valid on 5th August 2025.
