Vivo S50 Series Design Officially Shared: Aerospace-Grade Aluminum Frame, Satin Lithography Process, Squircle-Shaped Camera Module, and More Revealed
Ahead of the official debut that has been scheduled for next month (December 2025), the design of the upcoming Vivo S50 series has been shared officially by the brand’s Product Manager – Han Boxiao. Certain other design aspects have also been pointed out.

Vivo S50 Series – Design and Other Related Aspects Shared
As per what has been officially shared via the Vivo senior executive, the Vivo S50 series is teased to feature an all-aerospace-grade aluminum frame, and it is made using the new satin lithography process technology. He further notes that the rear panel will be ‘soothing and gentle’, and is said to be perfect for use in winter. A design teaser image has also been dropped by him, pointing out the thin form factor, projected rear camera module, antenna lines along the side panels, volume rockers + power button on the right side panel, and Silver color choice.
Furthermore, the Weibo tipster – Digital Chat Station has added that the shared image is possibly of the Vivo S50 smartphone, and he has again shared another image featuring the Chinese actress – Tian Xiwei holding the actual device. Via the image shared by the tipster, the device is revealed to have a textured design (with marble-like or wave-like patterns) at its rear panel. The squircle-shaped camera module can also be spotted at the upper-left portion of the rear panel, and it houses three camera sensors and possibly an LED ring-light and an LED flash-light. Additionally, the tipster adds that the device sports a flagship-level 50MP IMX882 periscope telephoto camera as well.
Looking into previous updates, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint 2.0 sensor, IP69 + IP68 full-level water resistance, LPDDR5X (9600Mbps) RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage have been revealed for the Vivo S50 series (expected to consist of the Vivo S50 and the Vivo S50 Pro mini models). Also, the Vivo S50 Pro mini is confirmed to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. The alleged 3C listings of the Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro mini smartphones have also been spotted, suggesting a 90W wired fast charging capability for the two.
