Upcoming Vivo Y500 Smartphone With 8200 mAh Battery Backup Tops the Xiaobai Battery Life Test Charts

The Chinese leading consumer electronics maker – Vivo will soon be unveiling its Y500 smartphone device packing the largest ever battery in the brand’s history and a new teaser update has now revealed that this upcoming device has topped in the Xiaobai battery life tests.

Vivo Y500 – Tops in Xiaobai’s Battery Life Tests

In the new Weibo teaser, Vivo’s Y500 smartphone has been teased with the tagline – ‘National God Machine’ and it is again pointed out to arrive as the most powerful Vivo phone ever with a 8200 mAh Blue Ocean Battery within it. Coming to its revealed battery life test results, the newly-shared teaser poster reveals that in the three-hour light battery life test 5.0, six-hour heavy battery life test 5.0, and in the extreme battery life test to shutdown 5.0, the Vivo Y500 is claimed to have taken the first place in charts. Speaking more, 77% and 40% battery life were retained by the device respectively after the three-hour light battery life and six-hour heavy battery life tests. Also, the device worked for 9 hours and 6 minutes in the extreme battery life test until it shut down.

About the official launch, Vivo has scheduled its Y500 smartphone launch on the 1st of September 2025 and the latest device will be introduced in three different colors (Black, Lavender/Purple, Blue). Apart from the battery aspects, Vivo’s Y500 is also being promoted for its build quality too.

An IP69+ rated body, Diamond Rock Structure, Five Military Standard Environmental Test Qualifications, and SGS Gold Label Five-Star Anti-Drop and Fall Resistance Certification are notable features that were teased earlier. Anti-fingerprint + anti-oil stain rear panel, up to 255% improved signal strength, 3D panoramic audio with 700% powerful voice, 6-year battery durability, and 90W wired fast charging are also further specs that were teased. Also, its Geekbench listing pointed to MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 processor, ARM Mali-G615 GPU, Android 15 OS, and 12GB RAM option as well.
