So it turns out that the report regarding the launch of the Tecno Spark Go 3 in India was indeed accurate. Tecno has now officially confirmed the launch of the Tecno Spark Go 3, scheduled for January 16th, 2026, at 12 PM IST. Alongside this confirmation, a dedicated microsite has also gone live, revealing some of the key specifications and design details of the smartphone.

Tecno SPark Go 3 Flipkart Microsite
Tecno is promoting the upcoming smartphone with the tagline “Desh Jaisa Damdar”. Further, the Flipkart microsite reveals the design of the smartphone in a blue and purple colour option, which appears similar to the iPhone 17. The device is claimed to support drop resistance of up to 1.2 metres, aimed at reducing damage from accidental falls. It also carries an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and water exposure during normal daily usage.

Speaking more about connectivity, the smartphone is said to offer improved signal performance, enabling communication over distances of up to 1.5 km even without network coverage. It also supports dual-lane connectivity, which is claimed to help maintain internet speeds in crowded areas. Tecno further claims that the device can deliver up to four years of lag-free performance, based on both hardware and software optimisation.
In terms of software features, the Tecno Spark Go 3 comes equipped with Ella AI, a voice assistant that supports multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, and Bengali.
Looking at its earlier appearances, the smartphone was previously spotted carrying the model number “KN3”. Based on this, Tecno is expected to launch the same device under multiple monikers, including Tecno Spark Go 3, Tecno Pop X, and Tecno Pop 20. As per the FCC certification, the device was listed as a 4G smartphone with support for Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz). The listing also revealed that the device was running Android 15, with the software version noted as KN3-15.1.2.
Speaking more about its hardware, the smartphone was revealed to pack a 4900mAh rated battery, which is marketed as 5000mAh typical, along with support for 10W wired charging. The FCC listing further indicated a 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Additionally, earlier Google Play Console listings had suggested that the device is powered by the Spreadtrum UMS9230E chipset, paired with a Mali-G57 GPU, and features an HD+ display while running Android 15 out of the box.
With the official launch date now confirmed, more details regarding pricing and availability are expected to be revealed closer to the launch event.
