While the rear is equipped with a 13MP AI rear camera with dual rear flash, the front has a 8MP selfie shooter. Furtehrmore, it is supported by software features such as FlashSnap and AutoSnap that help capture better moments automatically.

Tecno AI brings several AI features like, Hi Translate with text translation for 136 languages, voice interpretation for 167 languages, and photo translation for 51 languages, including offline and screenshot/photo-based translation. AI Writing assistant is also included, alongside Tecno’s Ella voice assistant, which offers functions such as web summaries, photo-based problem solving, photo editing, schedule creation, and navigation using single-sentence voice commands. Another useful addition is the infrared (IR) remote control functionality.

Connectivity options on the Tecno Pop 20 include GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, and OTG support. Tecno has also introduced FreeLink 2.0, which enables direct Bluetooth communication such as voice calls and messages between devices within an open area of up to approximately 1.5 km. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a software-based gyroscope. Tecno further claims a 4-year fluency guarantee based on its internal certification standards.

It is listed in four colour options, Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Aurora Purple, and Galaxy Blue. As of now, Tecno hasn’t announced pricing or availability details for the Pop 20, so we’ll have to stay tuned for further updates.
