Remember last year, Tecno announced a new Phantom Ultimate 2 tri-fold phone concept at IFA Berlin. Well, the company has yesterday unveiled all-new Tecno Phantom Ultimate G Fold Concept tri-fold phone that is teased to be the world’s thinnest tri-fold with dual inward-folding.
This is foldable, reimagined.

Tecno Phantom Ultimate G Fold Concept Tri-Fold Phone
The screen of this device is divided into three sections and has a G-style folding design. It boasts a custom-engineered dual-hinge system, when folded, the compact hinge lets the right section of the screen fold inward, similar to a typical book-style foldable. The main display measures 9.94 inches in the unfolded state. There is a dual-hinge setup that comprises a waterdrop hinge for the right side and a larger hinge that folds over the top. Integrated into the larger hinge is a dual-camera module that supports angle-based positioning.
It features a triple-camera setup and is said to feature a high-performance chipset. The battery capacity is confirmed to be more than 5,000 mAh. The hinge of the phone is made up of 2000MPa steel, while the back cover is made of Titan Fibre. It also includes various AI features and comes with Tecno’s AI assistant- Ella. The device measures 11.49mm when folded and 3.49mm when unfolded.

Tecno has confirmed that the Tecno Phantom Ultimate G Fold Concept Tri-Fold phone will be showcased at the MWC 2026. Currently, there is only one tri-fold smartphone available in the market for purchase- Huawei Mate XT Ultimate.
