The South Korean tech giant Samsung silently opened the pre-orders for its latest Galaxy A17 5G smartphone in the European market, and the company is rumored to soon launch this device in India as well. Well, the company has officially teased the launch of a new A-series smartphone in India.

The registration page reveals that the device will launch on 29th August in India, though the official moniker is not revealed. On the teaser page, the URL shows A1x, which suggests that the device could be the Galaxy A17 5G smartphone.
Even the design teased in the above image also hints towards the same. A previous report revealed that the Galaxy A17 5G will be available in three memory configurations: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. The respective prices are said to be ₹18,999, ₹20,499, and ₹23,499. Also, unlike the European version, the Indian variant is tipped to come with a charger in the box.
