[Update: India Pricing and Pre-Booking Announced] Samsung Officially Unveils its Galaxy S25 Edge Slim Form Factor Flagship Globally and in India
Update: Samsung India has now officially announced the pricing and pre-booking details of the Galaxy S25 Edge. Indian customers can get the device in two storage options of 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, and these are respectively priced at INR 1,09,999 and INR 1,21,999. To note, only two color variants will be available in India – Titanium Silver and Titanium Jetblack. The pre-booking for the device is now live, and as part of it the brand has also announced an INR 12,000 free storage upgrade too – For the price of the 12GB/256GB variant, customers can get the 12GB/512GB variant. No-cost EMI benefit of up to 9 months is also available with the device.

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge Flagship – Officially Unveiled
Samsung has addressed its latest and newly-unveiled Galaxy S25 Edge flagship as a ‘bold addition to the Galaxy S series with powerful performance, pro-grade camera, and Galaxy AI’. The full specs of the device are now out, and the brand claims it to be more than just a slim smartphone.
Firstly about its design, the Galaxy S25 Edge features a 5.8 mm thin form factor and weighs only 163 gm – assuring both a compact and a convenient experience for its users. In addition to these, the brand has also focused on providing enhanced durability and this has been achieved with the sturdy titanium frame with curved edges and the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection.
About its camera system, with the 200MP primary camera sensor Samsung has brought its iconic camera experience to the Galaxy S25 Edge device too, along with an added Nightography experience. Clearer and sharper photos with large pixel size, and more than 40% improved brightness in low-light scenarios are further features. The additional 12MP ultra-wide lens is also an important camera spec – providing features like auto focus and detailed macro capability. ProVisual Engine, Audio Eraser, and Drawing Assist are also its other camera features.
Speaking of its performance specs, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip for Samsung (over-clocked version – 4.47 GHz), and has a reconfigured vapor chamber to deliver stable performance with steady heat dissipation. ProScaler – for 40% improved display image scaling quality and the customized mobile Digital Natural Image engine (mDNIe) are also performance related specs.
Regarding the AI capabilities, Galaxy AI is integrated, along with Now Brief, Now Bar, and Gemini Live. With the Samsung Knox Vault, the on-device AI processing ensures that the user data is safely kept and managed.
Coming to its availability details, as mentioned above, two storage options – 12GB/256GB & 12GB/512GB and three color choices – Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Iceblue are available. The device carries price tags of USD 1099.99 (for 12GB/256GB) and USD 1219.99 (for 12GB/512GB). Its Indian pricing is said to be revealed later today. The sale date in global markets is also mentioned to start from the 30th of May 2025 – late this month itself.
