The South Korean tech giant Samsung has finally launched its much-awaited Galaxy S26 smartphone series in the Indian market. The series includes Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series: Features & Specs
The Galaxy S26 Ultra comes with the world’s first built-in Privacy Display for mobile phones that allows you to protect your private information by hiding your full screen from other people’s view. You can choose what you want to hide, such as certain apps and incoming notifications. There are two customisation options for this feature- Partial Screen Privacy and Maximum Privacy Protection.
The Ultra model introduces a redesigned Vapour Chamber with thermal interface material positioned along the side of the processor, allowing heat to spread more efficiently across a larger surface area. It comes with Super Fast Charging 3.0 technology.
Camera features for the Galaxy S26 Ultra model include Enhanced Nightography Video, video capture with upgraded Super Steady, the first Galaxy device to support APV, upgraded Photo Assist, and improvements to the AI ISP now extend to the selfie camera.
The Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra models support the ProScaler feature, with which the image quality can be enhanced up to QHD+.
The Galaxy S26 series boasts features like Document Scan (removes distortions and distractions such as creases or fingers to deliver clear scans instantly), Now Nudge (timely and relevant suggestions), Now Brief (timely reminders for important events), Circle to Search with Google (upgraded with enhanced multi-object recognition), upgraded Bixby, Gemini, Perplexity, Call Screening (identifies unknown callers and summarizes intent), Privacy Alerts (proactively notifies users in real time when apps with device admin privileges unnecessarily attempt to access sensitive data), Private Album (built directly into Gallery), new updates to Knox Matrix, Samsung Knox, Personal Data Engine, Auto Blocker, Theft Protection, Private Sharing, and secure WiFi.
