The South Korean smartphone maker – Samsung has now confirmed the launch date of its much-awaited slim form factor flagship, both in the global and Indian markets. Along with the launch confirmation, the brand via its Newsroom blog post has also revealed a few of its notable key aspects as well.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge – Launching on 13th May 2025
Samsung has teased its upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge with the tagline – ‘Beyond Slim’ and its launch is scheduled to take place on the 13th of May 2025 itself as expected, both globally as well as in the Indian market at 09:00 AM KST/01:00 PM IST. It will also be live streamed on Samsung.com as well, and the pre-booking for interested Indian customers is now live on the brand’s official website.
About the officially revealed details, Samsung has designed its Galaxy S25 Edge device focusing on flagship-level performance and superior portability. Also, apart from just being a slim form factor smartphone, it guarantees users with a premium user experience and mobile AI capabilities. Moreover, Galaxy’s iconic camera experience can also be expected on the device, and it will be sporting a 200MP wide camera lens at its rear.
Looking at previous updates, the upcoming device is believed to arrive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and is said to offer 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage. A 6.7″ AMOLED display is also expected to be featured on it, supporting 3120 × 1440 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. On the camera side, along with the 200MP main wide camera sensor, at the rear a 12MP ultra-wide camera sensor is also suggested to be present. For selfies, it is assumed to offer a 12MP front-facing camera. Furthermore, a 3900 mAh battery with wireless charging support is also among the expected specs.
Other expected specs include Android 15-based One UI 7, under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and IP68-rated body. It will possibly be 5.85mm thin and weigh 163gm. A titanium case coupled with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 at the rear and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for its display are its revealed build features. Three color variants can be expected for the device – Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Icy Blue, and Titanium Silver. Its pricing for the 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB storage models in Canada and Germany are suggested to be CAD 1678.99/EUR 1249 and CAD 1858.99/EUR 1369.
