Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G Launches in India with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC,7000mAh Battery and More
Samsung’s new Galaxy M17e 5G smartphone is now official, with it being launched in India. The smartphone comes with the specs that we have already seen in the Galaxy A07 5G. Basically, it is a rebranded version.
Here is more to it.
Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G – Specs and Features
The phone comes with a 6.7″ HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with an Adaptive Brightness feature, which automatically adjusts the screen brightness according to lighting conditions and even helps save battery life.
With a 7000mAh battery and 25W fast wired charging support, Samsung claims it can deliver the segment’s longest 26-hour video playback. Furthermore, it comes with Adaptive Battery Technology, which puts apps into sleeping or deep sleeping modes based on your usage. This helps ensure that apps that aren’t required don’t keep running in the background, reducing battery life.
Under the hood, the Galaxy M17e 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6300, the same as the Galaxy A07 5G, paired with One UI 8.0 based on Android 16 (with a promise of 6 major OS updates and 6 years of security updates) and up to 6GB RAM. Though it is only launched in a single 128GB internal storage option, you can also expand it via a microSD card up to 2TB.
It has a 50MP main wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while at the front it has an 8MP selfie shooter. Samsung states that this smartphone offers 12 5G bands, which is the highest in its segment. Additionally, it also comes equipped with Circle to Search, which allows you to instantly search for text, images, or videos on your screen by circling, highlighting, scribbling, or tapping them without switching apps.
