Samsung Galaxy F17 5G and its sibling, the Galaxy M17 5G, have been in the news for quite some time. Now, Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy F17 5G in India, as part of its Made in India initiative.

It comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ sAMOLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 1100 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and the phone also carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. With 387 PPI, 16 million colours, and immersive sAMOLED technology, the display ensures glare-free clarity whether indoors or outdoors.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Exynos 1330 octa-core processor, clocked at up to 2.4GHz and paired with an ARM Mali-G68 MP2 GPU. Plus, it has managed to get an AnTuTu score of over 439K. The smartphone runs on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 on top, and it comes with support for 6 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates.
It features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The rear camera supports modes such as Night, Panorama, Portrait, Pro, Macro, Slow Motion, and Hyperlapse, along with FHD video recording at 30fps. On the front, there’s a 13MP selfie camera with fixed focus for clear and detailed captures.
Fueling the device is a 5000mAh Li-ion battery with support for 25W fast charging, providing all-day power with quick recharge times. In terms of design, it has a slim profile measuring just 7.5mm in thickness and weighing 192g.
The Galaxy F17 5G comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card using a hybrid SIM slot. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C, NFC, and GPS with Google Maps support.
Security and convenience are enhanced with a fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and multiple sensors, including accelerometer, gyro, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, and virtual proximity sensing. Additional features include Circle to Search with Google, built-in Gemini Live for real-time AI assistance, Samsung Wallet with Tap and Pay, Quick Share, Smart Switch, and support for OTG.

The Galaxy F17 5G is available in two colour options: Neo Black and Violet Pop. It comes in two memory variants — 4GB + 128GB priced at ₹14,499 and 6GB + 128GB priced at ₹15,999. It can be purchased via Flipkart, Samsung India’s official website, and other major retailers.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can get a ₹500 cashback on payments made using HDFC Bank cards or UPI.
