Samsung Galaxy A07 5G breaks cover with 6″ PLS LCD HD+ display, Dimensity 6300 SoC, and 6 major OS upgrades

Just a few days ago, we spotted the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G on the Google Play Console, which revealed that the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. Now, the smartphone has also appeared on Samsung’s campaign page for Myanmar.

Interestingly, the URL itself belongs to Samsung Thailand’s website, but it hosts a dedicated campaign page specifically for the Myanmar market.

Samsung Galaxy A07 5G Specs and Features

It features a 6.7″ PLS LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels and support for a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a waterdrop-style notch on the front. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and is offered in two variants: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, with further expansion supported via microSD card up to 2TB. The device runs on Android 16 out of the box, and Samsung promises up to six major OS updates along with six years of security updates.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy A07 5G packs a 50MP primary rear camera alongside a 2MP depth sensor, while the front houses an 8MP selfie camera. The rear camera supports Full HD video recording at 1080p and 30fps, and the phone also supports Full HD video playback at 60fps across formats such as MP4, MKV, AVI, FLV, and WEBM. Connectivity options include 5G (Sub-6 FDD and TDD), 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, dual SIM support, USB Type-C, and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. It also comes equipped with sensors such as an accelerometer, fingerprint sensor, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, and proximity sensor.

The device is backed by a large 6,000mAh battery and measures 167.4 × 77.4 × 8.2mm while weighing 199 grams. Additionally, the Galaxy A07 5G carries an IP54 rating, offering protection against dust and splashes.

Pricing and Availability

The page mentions that the phone comes in two colour options, Light Violet and Black, and offers two memory variants, 4GB/128GB priced at 5,499 Thai baht (approx. INR 15865.98) and 6GB/128GB priced at 5,999 Thai baht (approx. INR 17,308.60). The smartphone is also expected to launch in India by the end of this month.
