Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy M06 5G and Galaxy M16 5G will launch soon in India. Their microsite is now live on Amazon India, showcasing design schematics for both smartphones.
The teaser on Amazon reveals that the Galaxy M06 5G has a design similar to the recently launched Galaxy F06 5G. This was expected since Samsung typically sells its F-series smartphones through Flipkart and the M-series through Amazon. The teaser also highlights the Galaxy M16 5G, featuring a triple-camera layout placed inside a vertically aligned pill-shaped camera module with an LED flash. However, it doesn’t reveal much about the specifications.

Samsung recently listed the Galaxy M16 5G’s Indian support page, which shows a 4GB RAM option. This suggests that, like its predecessor, the phone may also offer a 4GB RAM variant. Additionally, a Geekbench listing confirms that the device will use the Dimensity 6300 SoC, come with 8GB of RAM, and run on Android 14.
Meanwhile, Samsung launched the Galaxy F06 5G with the same Dimensity 6300 SoC, but it came with One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box. The Galaxy M06 5G may follow the same approach.
Although Samsung hasn’t announced an official launch date yet, rumours suggest a March launch, as February is coming to an end and the first teaser is out now.
