Samsung announces the launch of a new Galaxy A series device on 25th March in India

The South Korean tech giant Samsung has today officially announced that a new Galaxy A series device will be launched in India on 25th March at 5:30 PM.

Though the company has not announced the moniker of the device, the attached URL link in the above post suggests that the upcoming device could be the Galaxy A57 5G smartphone. Apart from this, if we look at the previous track record, along with Galaxy A57 5G, the company could also introduce Galaxy A37 5G smartphone, but it is advised to wait for the official confirmation.

Interested consumers can click on the Notify Me option on the Samsung India website to get the latest updates related to the upcoming Galaxy device.

The right side of the device is revealed in the above teaser that houses power and volume buttons, while there is also a slight bump. The camera module is also a bit raised and is expected to include three camera sensors.

Galaxy A37 5G & Galaxy A57 5G: Revealed details

Reportedly, Galaxy A37 5G could arrive with Exynos 1480 SoC, Android 16, 45W wired fast charging, and 4905 mAh battery.

Coming to the Galaxy A57 5G, recently, a YouTuber revealed the detailed features of this device.  The device is revealed to be thinner at 6.9mm when compared to its predecessor (Galaxy A56 5G- 7.4mm). It features a metal frame and a glass back protected by Gorilla Glass Victus Plus. The camera lenses are distinct, but the overall design looks similar to the previous generation.

It is said to sport a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness. There are thinner display bezels. The device is revealed to be equipped with Exynos 1680 SoC (scored approx 1,138,000 on AnTuTu0 and runs on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16.

According to the YouTuber, in PUBG Mobile, it supports “Extreme” (60 FPS) settings. Just like the Galaxy A56 5G, its successor also comes with IP67 water and dust resistance. It is said to sport a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro camera on the rear side. It supports video recording at 4K at 30 FPS. The stabilisation is slightly improved, while the macro and portrait modes show minor refinements in processing.

It is revealed to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. It supports Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
