Last month, the reMarkable Paper Pro Move device was spotted on the TDRA and FCC certification websites, and it was expected that the device would soon make its debut in the global markets. Well, as expected, this tablet has finally been introduced in the market.
reMarkable Paper Pro Move: Features
Last year, reMarkable introduced the reMarkable Paper Pro tablet, and now the company has launched a pocketable version of this e-paper tablet called reMarkable Paper Pro Move. This pocket-sized tablet comes with a 7.3-inch Canvas Color display. You can use the reMarkable desktop app to review notes and upload documents for the day. Notes are encrypted and stored securely both on the device and in the cloud.
In the words of Chief Product Officer Mats Herding Solberg, “We created a device that belongs in your bag or jacket pocket- an everyday carry. It’s like a classic journalist notepad, so you can get real work done while standing up and holding it in one hand.”
The tablet is combined with reMarkable’s custom-developed Markers, which deliver the best digital writing experience available. The digital ink appears virtually instantly, and every pen stroke has just the right amount of friction, so it feels like writing on paper. The display reflects natural light without causing eye strain, while the adjustable reading light softly illuminates the display.
It features a design in sleek anodized aluminum and textured glass. The tablet comes with up to two weeks of battery life and three days of power in just 10 minutes of recharging. It is said to be the most sustainable paper tablet yet, with more than 50% recycled metals, and it is easier to refurbish and repair.
The tablet comes with built-in templates, including grids, lines, and planners. The display rotates automatically, notes can be converted into text with a tap, and sent by email directly from the device. It arrives with a low-cost Connect subscription that provides exclusive templates and workbooks for leading projects, taking notes, and solving complex problems.
With Connect, users can also take and edit notes in the reMarkable apps, while unlimited cloud storage ensures notes are always available. There is also a new handwriting search feature.
