Redmi Turbo 5 Max teased to arrive with 5-year battery health and 100W wired fast charging support

Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, will introduce its all-new Redmi Turbo 5 Max smartphone this month in the Chinese market. The company has already started teasing the key details of this upcoming device.
Recently, it was revealed that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max smartphone will be powered by a 9000 mAh battery, and the battery endurance tests were also revealed. The company has now shared some new battery and charging details.
Redmi Turbo 5 Max: Battery and charging details teased
The device is confirmed to arrive with a 9000 mAh battery. As part of the first sale offer, buyers will get a five-year battery warranty. If the system battery health level drops below 80% within five years, it will be replaced free of charge.
In the 2.5K range endurance race, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max with a 9000 mAh battery outperformed the competitor’s 10000mAh battery by 11 hours and 10 minutes of heavy use in just 43 minutes.
The device supports 100W wired fast charging. It features Xiaomi’s Surge P3 charging chip and supports up to 27W reverse charging. This upcoming device supports the 100W PPS protocol, making it compatible with over 100 chargers. The battery’s polarised encapsulation technology enhances reliability. It comes with 1600 long-cycle protection and supports bypass charging. The multiple charging algorithms address issues like high temperature and over-saturation.
