Redmi Turbo 5 Max officially confirmed with MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC, scores 3.61M on AnTuTu
So much confusion had been created due to random leaks and tipsters claiming incorrect monikers. Well, at least now Redmi has officially confirmed that the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which it had already teased earlier, will indeed come with the Dimensity 9500s SoC, which itself has launched today.
In the teaser posted on Weibo, Redmi has also revealed that the Turbo 5 Max was able to achieve a score of 3.61 million points on the AnTuTu V11 benchmark. Redmi further confirms that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max will be the first smartphone to launch with the Dimensity 9500s SoC. It also reveals that the price range of this smartphone is expected to be around CNY 2.5K.

Speaking more about the Dimensity 9500s, it is built on TSMC’s 3nm process and features a – 1 × Cortex-X925 @ 3.73GHz (2MB L2 cache) – 3 × Cortex-X4 @ 3.30GHz (1MB L2 cache each) – 4 × Cortex-A720 @ 2.40GHz (512KB L2 cache each), paired with a 12-core G925 GPU. The chipset includes 12MB of L3 cache along with 10MB of system-level cache (SLC), has nearly 30 billion transistors, and a die size exceeding 120mm².
Just recently, two model numbers — “2511FRT34C” and “2602BRT18C” — suspected to belong to the Redmi Turbo 5 Max series were spotted on 3C certification, revealing that both devices support 100W fast wired charging. Out of these two, the model number “2602BRT18C” was also spotted on the Geekbench database with the Dimensity 9400+, Android 16, and 16GB RAM. At that time, it was believed that this could be the Dimensity 9500s disguised as the Dimensity 9400+. And as the Dimensity 9500s has now been announced with the same core architecture, this does suggest that it is indeed a rebranded Dimensity 9400+ SoC. Further, it was earlier believed to be the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro Max, but it now appears that it is actually the Redmi Turbo 5 Max.
