Redmi Turbo 5 Max confirmed to arrive with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, 27W wired reverse charging, a 6.83-inch display and more

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi will introduce its Redmi Turbo 5 series on 29th January in the Chinese market. The series includes two models- Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max. The company has already revealed quite a few details about the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, while yesterday, the design of the Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone was also officially revealed.
Ahead of the upcoming launch of this series, Redmi has once again shared some major details about the Redmi Turbo 5 Max device.
Redmi Turbo 5 Max: New features teased
The Redmi Turbo 5 Max is already confirmed to be powered by the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC. This chipset is built on a 3nm process and is paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The device is equipped with a 5800 mm2 3D cooling system that includes high-performance graphite.
It is backed by a 9000 mAh battery that delivers 894Wh/L, Xiaomi’s highest energy density, and 16% ultra-high silicon content. The smartphone supports 27W wired reverse charging and 100W PPS, making it compatible with over 100 chargers. It is said to offer 1600 long cycles.
The upcoming device features a 6.83-inch new generation Super Sunlight display that boasts M10 luminescent material. The display offers 3500 nits peak brightness, 3840Hz PWM+ DC Dimming, and it also boasts Xiaomi’s Green Mountain eye protection technology.
It comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that is said to provide a 30% faster response time compared to in-display fingerprint sensors. The sensor supports swipe-to-register for more accurate and efficient recognition and registration, while it makes one-handed operation simple and convenient.
The smartphone arrives with an IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating, dual 115F symmetrical stereo dual speakers, Light and Shadow Hunter 600 high dynamic range main camera (f/1.5 large aperture) with OIS and T1S signal enhancement chip (kilometre-level wireless network connectivity).
