Redmi Turbo 5 Max achieves up to 115.6fps in new performance test

Xiaomi’s sub-brand yesterday confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max will come with the Dimensity 9500s SoC, and now additional details have surfaced about how the device performs during gameplay. However, the launch date is still missing from the official posters.

As per details revealed by Redmi today, internal Xiaomi laboratory testing shows that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max reportedly recorded an average of 59.5fps while running large-scale 3D turn-based mobile games at 2.5K resolution with very high image quality settings. Under the same conditions, competing models delivered lower or similar results, with model A at 58.9fps, model B at 50.2fps, and model C at 53.3fps. These tests were carried out over 30 minutes at a room temperature of 25°C with screen brightness fixed at 350 nits.

Speaking more about gaming stability, Redmi today also shared performance figures for a national-level MOBA mobile game, focusing on the 1% low frame rate. In this test, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max achieved 115.6fps, while the competing model A reached 107.1fps, model B 113.3fps, and model C 112.7fps. The session reportedly lasted 100 minutes, with image quality set to ultimate (997p), again at 25°C room temperature and 350 nits brightness.

Additionally, the brand revealed today that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max has been tested across four mainstream game categories. As per the shared data, the device delivered 120.1fps in MOBA titles, 60.0fps in large-scale RPG games, 119.9fps in FPS games, and 59.5fps in large-scale 3D turn-based games. Redmi notes that all figures come from its own laboratory environment and that actual results may vary depending on real-world usage.
