Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max smartphones launched in China; Check out the specs and availability details

As announced earlier, Redmi has officially introduced its all-new Redmi Turbo 5 series in the Chinese market. This series includes two models- Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max.

Here are the details.

Redmi Turbo 5

Specs

The device sports a 6.59-inch TCL M10 OLED display that offers 1.5K screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3500 nits peak brightness, and 3840Hz PWM+ DC dimming. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

The smartphone packs a 50MP main camera (f/1.5 aperture, 1/1.95”) with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera on the rear side, while on the front it features a 20MP HD selfie camera. It is backed by a 7560 mAh battery, supports 100W Xiaomi Surge charge, 27W wired reverse charging, and 100W PPS charging protocol.

Other features include a metal frame with a glass back panel, double ring light strip, 3D Ice-Sealed Circulating Cooling Pump, Xiaomi Qingshan Eye Protection, stereo dual speakers, dual-band GPS+ tri-band Beidou, IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating, optical fingerprint sensor, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, Surge P3 chip, Surge G1 chip, and NFC.

Availability

The device comes in Auspicious Cloud White, Shadow Black, and Shallow Sea Blue colour options. The 12/256GB variant is priced at 1999 Yuan, the 16/256GB variant is priced at 2299 Yuan, the 12/512GB variant is priced at 2299 Yuan, and the 16/512GB variant is priced at 2599 Yuan. These are the initial sale prices.

It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

It packs a 50MP Light Hunter 600 main camera (f/1.5 aperture) with OIS and an 8MP wide-angle camera on the rear side, while on the front it features a 20MP HD selfie camera. The device is backed by a 9000 mAh battery, supports 100W Xiaomi Surge charge, 27W wired reverse charging, and 100W PPS charging protocol.

The 12/256GB variant is priced at 2199 Yuan, the 16/256GB variant is priced at 2499 Yuan, the 12/512GB variant is priced at 2499 Yuan, and the 16/512GB variant is priced at 2799 Yuan. These are the initial sale prices.

From January 29th to 1st February, if consumers purchase any of the two devices, they will receive a five-year battery health warranty and 365 days a year replacement (no repairs).
