Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G India launch officially teased; Amazon and Flipkart availability confirmed
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G was launched globally earlier this year in September, alongside the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Wi-Fi-only variant and the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Matte Edition. Now, Redmi is preparing to bring the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G to the Indian market. The company has shared an official teaser, and a dedicated microsite is already live on both Amazon India and Flipkart.
According to the microsite, Redmi has lined up a series of feature reveals. The battery or charging specifications are set to be disclosed on December 22nd, followed by the display specifications on December 23rd. The processor details are expected on December 24th, audio features on December 25th, and the tablet’s weight on December 27th. However, the microsite does not confirm the exact launch date for India.
Separately, Redmi has also announced that the Redmi Note 15 5G will be launching in India soon, with rumours suggesting a January 6th, 2026, launch. Based on this timeline, it is possible that the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G could debut alongside the Redmi Note 15 5G in India, although this remains speculation for now. Redmi is expected to officially announce the launch date in the coming days.
It is worth noting that both the microsites and the teaser shared by Redmi on X confirm only the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G variant. There is no mention of the Wi-Fi-only or Matte Edition models for India at this stage. As of now, only the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G has been confirmed to launch in the Indian market.
