Here is more to it.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G Indian variant specs revealed

The official microsite had earlier confirmed that the tablet would pack a 12,000mAh battery, and it has now been updated with more specifications. According to the listing, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G will feature a 12.1″ (30.73cm) QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support.

The tablet will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, with Redmi claiming it to be the fastest Redmi Pad in the ₹20,000–₹30,000 price segment.

The microsite also confirms a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support, with Xiaomi stating that the speakers can deliver up to 300% louder sound. In addition, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G will sport a metal unibody design. Despite housing what Xiaomi describes as the largest battery in a 12.1-inch tablet, the device measures just 7.5mm in thickness and weighs 610 grams.

These specifications are identical to the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G that debuted globally in September 2025. At the time, Redmi also introduced a Wi-Fi-only variant and a Matte Glass edition. However, so far, only the 5G variant has been teased for the Indian market, and there is no official word yet on whether the other variants will make their way to India.
