Redmi Note 15R 5G officially unveiled in China; Arrives as the rebranded version of Redmi 15 5G

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi recently unveiled its latest Redmi Note 15 5G series in the Chinese market, and the series included Redmi Note 15 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G models. Well, the brand has now silently unveiled a new device under the Redmi Note 15 series- Redmi Note 15R 5G in China.

Redmi Note 15R 5G arrives as the rebranded version of the Redmi 15 5G smartphone that made its debut in India this month.

Redmi Note 15R 5G: Specifications

The smartphone features a 6.9-inch LCD display that offers 2340×1080 pixel screen resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 850 nits HBM brightness, and 288Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC built with 6nm process technology. The chipset is paired with LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 internal storage. It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and is said to offer 48 months of smooth performance.

The device is backed by a 7000 mAh battery and supports 33W wired fast charging and 18W wired reverse charging. It packs a 50MP rear main camera and an 8MP front camera. The smartphone is 8.5mm thick and weighs 217g. Other features include- WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, infrared remote control, 200% loud volume, IP64 rating, NFC, Wet Touch 2.0, Dolby Atmos support, and integrated metal DECO trendy small vertical edge.

The device comes in Glacier White, Shadow Black, and Quicksand Purple colors. There are three storage options- 8/256GB priced at 1,499 Yuan, 12/256GB priced at 1,899 Yuan, and 12/512GB priced at 2,199 Yuan.
