Redmi Note 15 Pro Series Launching on 21st August 2025; Teased With Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass, Anti-Bending + Ultra-Tough Fiberglass Back, IP69K + Five-Star Long-Term Waterproof Quality Certification, and More; Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Design Renders in Azure Blue Color Also Shared
The latest Redmi Note 15 Pro series, just like what was expected, is now confirmed to launch in three days. Via its official Weibo handle, the brand has also shared a few teaser updates concerning its build quality and flagship features. Additionally, the render images of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ smartphone model are also now out.

Redmi Note 15 Pro Series – Confirmed to Launch on the 21st of August 2025 in China
As per what was already shared by the brand, the Redmi Note 15 Pro series was confirmed to have its launch in August 2025, and in a following teaser update, it was also said to take place this week itself. Around the same time, leaks started pointing out that the brand plans to unveil its Redmi Note 15 Pro series on the 21st August 2025 and it has now turned out to be true. The official Redmi Note 15 Pro series launch in China will indeed take place on this same day (21st August 2025), at 7:00 PM local time. Notably, the brand has again teased the series to be truly drop-resistant and waterproof. Moreover, its screen, battery life, and connectivity specs will be aimed at offering a flagship experience to its users too, and the series is claimed to arrive as the ‘king’ in the mid-range segment. To note, the pre-orders are also now open in China.
Speaking more about the teased specs, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will be featuring the Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass and the ultra-tough fiberglass back panel – together offering double-sided protection and 10x times more drop resistance. It is also said to be the first smartphone device of the industry to qualify the 2 meter 50 times granite drop test. The Redmi Note 15 Pro series smartphones both are teased to have IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K water protection and the two have received the industry’s first Five-Star Long-Term Waterproof Quality Certification. Also, the Wilderness Survival Expert – Ed Stafford will be the face of the Redmi Note 15 Pro Series, and he performed the hammer test on the Redmi Note 15 Pro Series as well.
Coming to the renders, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ smartphone in Azure Blue color has been featured and from what it looks, the next Redmi Note 15 Pro+ appear more similar to the Redmi Note 14 Pro than the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ because of the camera module. There is a squircle-shaped centrally-placed projected camera module on the rear panel, housing four circular inner units. Three of them house camera sensors, while one has the LED flashlight. To add, this is a 50MP OIS triple camera system.
Regarding the rear panel, it has a brushed texture on it, and the sides are slightly curved. The side panels are thin and flat, but the display is again quad-curved with very thin bezels. A centrally-placed punch-hole selfie camera is also part of the display. Also, the volume rockers + power button are positioned on the right side panel, and at the top, speaker holes and a mic hole/IR blaster can be spotted. Moreover, in addition to the Azure Blue color, there will likely be a Purple color shade too for the upcoming device.

Looking at other older updates, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ smartphone’s recent Geekbench listing hinted that it will be using an overclocked version (2.71 GHz) of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Furthermore, its Radio and 3C certifications also pointed to the existence of a Beidou Satellite Edition model (for messaging) as well as the support for 90W fast charging.
