Here is more to it.
Redmi Note 15 5G Specs and Features
It features a 6.77″ curved AMOLED display offering a peak brightness of 3,200 nits for improved outdoor visibility. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate for smoother interactions and faster touch response. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 mobile platform, with Redmi claiming up to 30% faster CPU performance and a 10% improvement in GPU performance compared to the previous generation.
The phone is built with a reinforced body and tougher display glass, and it has been tested for drops of up to 1.7 metres. It also carries MIL-STD-810H certification and IP65/IP66 ratings, meaning it can handle dust, splashes, and light water exposure during regular day-to-day use.
The phone features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 108MP main camera with a 1/1.67-inch sensor, f/1.7 aperture, and OIS, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It sports a 5520mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is rated for up to 1,600 charging cycles and is claimed to maintain long-term battery health. It supports 45W fast charging and 18W reverse charging, allowing it to power other devices when needed. The device also includes Smart Charging 2.0, which manages charging based on usage patterns and safety requirements.
It comes with dual stereo speakers offering 300% louder sound and supports Dolby Atmos, along with Xiaomi sound tuning. The phone has a slim 7.35mm profile, with curved edges designed to make it easier to hold during regular use, such as calls, scrolling, or gaming. Thickness may vary slightly by colour variant, with the purple version measuring 7.4mm.
The Redmi Note 15 5G runs Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 and is confirmed to receive four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. It includes Google Gemini, with features such as Circle to Search for finding information directly from on-screen content and Gemini Live for voice-based interactions. Xiaomi’s interconnectivity features allow shared clipboard, call sync, and network sync, making it possible to copy content between devices, take phone calls on a tablet, and automatically use the phone’s hotspot when Wi-Fi is unavailable.
