In India, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched the Redmi Note 15 back in January 2026. Now, a new Special Edition of the Redmi Note 15 5G is coming to India. The launch is scheduled for April 2nd 2026.

Redmi Note 15 5G SE (Special Edition) – Details Revealed
As stated above, the Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition smartphone will break cover in India on April 2nd 2026. A Flipkart microsite is now live, which also gives a glimpse of the design.
As per the banner, the device will arrive in a Red colour option. It will feature a vegan leather finish. The same banner also shows the tagline “Faster. Bolder. Simply Better”. At the end of the page, it is written: “Reserved for the Special Ones”.
This appears to be similar to the Redmi Note 15 5G Series Chinese New Year Edition, which features a Cherry Red colour option with the same specs as that of the standard variant.
Talking more about the design, unlike the standard Redmi Note 15 5G, the Chinese New Year Edition came with a vegan leather finish in Red colour at the back with golden accents around the sides and the camera module. The same can be expected for the Indian version as well.
In terms of pricing and memory options, these details will likely be revealed at the time of launch.
