Redmi Note 15 5G Launching in India on January 6, 2026 with 6.77″ Curved AMOLED Display, HydroTouch 2.0, and 3,200 nits Brightness

The rumour has turned out to be true, as Redmi today officially confirmed the launch of the Redmi Note 15 5G in India on 6 January 2026. Ahead of the announcement, the company had been teasing key specifications of the device for the past week. Redmi has now revealed the display details through its dedicated microsite.

According to the microsite, the Redmi Note 15 5G will feature a 6.77″ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. It will also support HydroTouch 2.0, Xiaomi’s display technology designed to improve touch responsiveness even when the screen or the user’s fingers are wet. The display is also TÜV Triple Eye Care certified.

Earlier, the microsite had already revealed several other key specifications. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and is claimed to deliver 48 months of lag-free performance. On the camera front, it will feature a 108MP primary shooter supporting 4K video recording and OIS. The device will pack a 5,520mAh battery, with Redmi claiming up to 1.6 days of battery life, along with 45W wired fast charging. It will also come with an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance.

Pricing details have also surfaced ahead of the launch. As per the leak, the 8GB plus 128GB variant could be priced at ₹22,999, while the 8GB plus 256GB model may cost ₹24,999. However, the tipster did not clarify whether these prices reflect launch offers or the final retail pricing.
