Redmi K90 Series officially confirmed to launch in China in October with Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max
The Redmi K90 Series has been making headlines over the past few weeks through numerous leaks and rumours. Now, Lu Weibing, Xiaomi’s President, has officially confirmed on Weibo that the Redmi K90 Series will make its debut in China in October itself.
Here is more to it.
Redmi K90 Series Details Revealed
In his post, Lu Weibing revealed that the upcoming K series will bring two major upgrades — in terms of both specifications and lineup structure. He noted that the Redmi K series has so far included a standard and a Pro variant, but this time, the brand is introducing a Pro Max model for the first time in the K lineup.
Lastly, he mentioned that the Redmi K90 Pro Max is described as “an all-around flagship, continuously breaking through,” while the Redmi K90 is referred to as “a flagship welding goalkeeper, fully upgraded.”

And to be honest, no one expected this. We all thought the two versions would be the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro — but it is what it is. Officially, this is all that has been revealed so far about the Redmi K90 Series.
Earlier, we spotted the vanilla variant, Redmi K90, on the Google Play Console supported devices list under the model number 2510DRK44C. From the Geekbench database, it was revealed to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, Android 16, and 16GB of RAM. The 3C certification also confirmed 100W fast wired charging support.
Meanwhile, the model we initially assumed to be the Pro variant turns out to be the Pro Max. It was also spotted (25102RKBEC) on Geekbench, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, with 16GB RAM and Android 16. Additionally, the 3C certification confirmed 100W fast wired charging support for this model as well.
The pre-reservations for the Redmi K90 Series have already begun on Xiaomi’s official China website.
