Redmi K90 Pro Max confirmed to launch on October 23rd with ‘Sound by Bose’ audio

Yesterday, Redmi officially teased its upcoming Redmi K90 Series for the first time, confirming that it will include two models, the Redmi K90 and the Redmi K90 Pro Max. While the launch date wasn’t revealed initially, it has now been confirmed that the Redmi K90 Pro Max will debut on October 23rd, 2025.

In the latest teaser, Redmi has not only revealed the launch date but also showcased the front and rear design of the Pro Max variant in a “Flowing Gold White” colour option.

At the front, it features a punch-hole camera at the centre, along with thin, symmetrical bezels, offering a clean and balanced look. Turning to the rear, the phone sports a rectangular camera module with four circular cutouts arranged in a 2×2 layout. Out of these, three are camera lenses, including one periscope sensor, while the fourth appears to be for a sensor. The LED flash is neatly placed at the centre of the four camera cutouts.

Next to the main camera array, there’s an additional circular cutout bearing the label “Sound by Bose”, which is believed to house the speaker unit. This confirms a collaboration between Redmi and Bose, hinting that the inbuilt speaker system is tuned by Bose

In today’s teaser, only the Redmi K90 Pro Max has been showcased with the launch date, while the standard Redmi K90 was not mentioned. However, it is expected that Redmi will unveil both smartphones on October 23rd. As per an earlier Geekbench listing, the Pro Max variant is expected to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Now that the launch date has been confirmed, more details about the series are likely to be revealed in the coming days.
