Redmi K90 Max, Redmi Book Pro 2026, Redmi Pad 2 SE and Redmi K Pad 2 launching in China on 21st April; Key details teased

Recently, Redmi teased some features of its upcoming Redmi K90 Max smartphone, and the device was said to launch soon in China. Today, the company has officially announced the launch date of this device, and alongside this smartphone, some other devices will also be unveiled.

The Redmi K90 Max will be launched in the Chinese market on 21st April at 19:00 (local time). The pre-orders for this device are open on all major e-commerce platforms in the country.
It is revealed that this smartphone recognises game type. For FPS games, it offers millisecond-level response, giving you a head start in shooting. For MOBA games, it provides greater stability and precise movement, allowing for continuous multi-finger touches. The device sports a 6.83-inch display that offers 3500 nits ultra-high brightness, and the brand-new e-sports touchscreen offers 3500Hz instantaneous sampling rate, a 480Hz multi-finger touch reporting rate and 400Hz six-axis gyroscope. The display boasts the M10 Emissive Technology system and game-specific dark zone optimisation.
The K90 Max features upgraded gaming audio with 1115K symmetrical stereo dual speakers and Sound by Bose co-tuning. The device brings you a new Delta Force experience as it is among the first to support 165fps+ HD graphics. It comes with native support for over 40 games in 165fps mode.
The device comes in Space Silver colour. The aluminium alloy frame features an ultra-narrow bezel design and a minimalised grille opening. It features an innovative air-cooling system with a large fan for maximum airflow and a vortex airflow channel for maximum efficiency. It comes with “body temperature” temperature control, boasting powerful air cooling.
Alongside this smartphone, the company will introduce Redmi Book Pro 2026, Redmi K Pad 2 and Redmi Pad 2 SE in China on 21st April.

The Redmi Pad 2 SE features a 9.7-inch screen that offers 2K screen resolution. It features a flagship-level unibody metal design with TUV Rheinland triple eye protection certification. It is backed by a 7600 mAh battery and offers 70.2 days of ultra-long standby time.
The Redmi Book Pro 2026 comes with up to a 3rd-generation Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor and up to a 99Wh battery. It features a brand-new personal knowledge base with upgraded AI deep search. The laptop comes in two sizes: 14” and 16”.
The Redmi Book Pro 14 2026 features the all-new Super AI Assistant. Users can create their own personal knowledge base locally to protect privacy and security. AI deep search allows for file recognition and even image recognition. One-click remote power on/off meets emergency office needs on the go.
The 14-inch model features a 92Wh high-density battery, providing up to 37 hours of local video playback. It also boasts up to 90W high-power reverse fast charging with PPS support. It features up to a 3rd-generation Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor. The CPU utilizes 18A advanced process. It leads 180 TOPS AI computing power and offers LPDDR5X 9600MT/s ultra-high frequency memory.

Coming to the Redmi K Pad 2, it is equipped with the Dimensity 9500 SoC. The tablet features an 8.8-inch display and offers a 165Hz high refresh rate. The e-sports screen offers comprehensive upgrades in brightness, touch control, and eye protection. It comes in an Electric Purple colour option.
