Xiaomi has now introduced its Redmi 15A 5G smartphone in the Indian market and will be made available in Awesome Blue, Amaze Purple, and Ace Black colour choices.

Redmi 15A 5G – Specs and Features
The Redmi 15A 5G smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T8300 chipset, integrated with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, and it comes with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The storage can also be further expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. Speaking about the OS, it runs on the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 custom skin, which brings features such as Call Sync, Shared Clipboard, and Network Sync. Xiaomi has promised 4 major OS upgrades along with 6 years of Android security patch updates. Additionally, the smartphone is equipped with the Gemei AI assistant and also supports Circle to Search.
For its display, a 6.9″ HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels resolution) display screen is given, which supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 800nits high brightness mode (HBM), and an adaptive 120Hz–240Hz touch sampling rate. Further, it packs a 6300mAh battery, supporting up to 15W wired fast charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging.
This smartphone features a 32MP main AI camera with a secondary sensor whose detail has not been specified, and offers an 8MP front-facing camera. Talking about connectivity, it supports WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and also includes a 3.5mm audio jack. Lastly, it offers 200% volume booster speakers and also includes IP52-rated dust and water resistance.
Pricing and Availability
The device will be made available from April 3rd 2026, via Flipkart, Redmi India, and other authorised retailers. Memory options include 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB, which are priced at ₹12,999, ₹14,499, and ₹16,499, respectively.
