Realme Neo 8 Smartphone January 2026 Launch Officially Announced in China, and its Pre-Order Goes Live: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Chip, Transparent RGB Design, and Cyber Purple Color Also Teased
As revealed earlier, Realme will be launching its next Neo 8 smartphone this month in the Chinese market, and the pre-order for the upcoming device is now live in the country. Additionally, a few key details pertaining to the smartphone’s processor, design, and color choices have also been teased.

Realme Neo 8 – Launching in China This Month
Realme’s Neo 8 smartphone is being addressed as a ‘new generation of trendy gaming flagship’, and it will be breaking its cover in the Chinese market this month in January 2026. The device is also confirmed to use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, and it has achieved 3.58 million points overall performance score on the AnTuTu benchmark.
About its design, it features a transparent RGB design that is both trendy and playful in appearance, and a halo light will also be there besides the camera module. The camera module is squircle-shaped, housing three camera sensors and an LED light strip. Hyperimage+ is also supported on the device, along with 120x zooming. NFC connectivity and VOOC charging have also been confirmed for the device, as per the engravings on the rear panel. Also to add, a Cyber Purple color choice can be expected too.
Regarding its pre-order details, interested Chinese customers can get the Realme Neo 8 lucky bag at just CNY 1, and become eligible for benefits of up to CNY 2713. The benefits will include the TWS Bluetooth earphones (Realme T200 Lite*), 1-year back cover warranty, 1-year extended warranty, 3-year battery warranty, and many other amazing gifts. It (lucky bag) will be available on the brand’s official website, JD.com, Tmall, Pinduoduo, and Douyin.
In related news, the live image of the Realme Neo 8 was leaked online two days back, and a seemingly Silver/Grey color choice was also revealed for the device. Speaking more, specifications such as the 6.78″ Samsung AMOLED display (supporting 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate), 8000mAh battery, 80W charging, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68/IP69 rating, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage have also been revealed. It has received the 3C certification as well, and its wired fast charging support was confirmed via the 3C listing. A Realme Neo 8 Infinite Edition is also said to be on its way, along with the normal edition phone.
