Realme Neo 8 confirmed to launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 3.58 million AnTuTu score, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage

Realme has now officially revealed a series of specifications for the upcoming Realme Neo 8, which is bound to launch on January 22nd in China at 19:00 China time, and alongside Realme Buds Air 8 will also be launching.

Realme, in its new teaser posted on Weibo, confirms that the Realme Neo 8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with an “Extreme Performance Panel”, achieving an AnTuTu score of 3,587,043. Realme also reveals that the Neo 8 supports custom temperature control tuning for the first time, allowing users to fine-tune performance without requiring root access. The device comes equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
Speaking more about sustained performance, the smartphone features a large vapour chamber cooling system with a total heat dissipation area of 39,225mm² and a thermal conductivity rate of 2000W/m·K, which is said to help maintain stability during long gaming sessions.
Realme further claims that users can manually customise CPU and GPU frequencies based on gaming requirements, offering deeper performance control. In testing, the device reportedly achieved an average frame rate of 164.3fps over six hours of continuous gameplay in a popular shooter title while running in the highest performance mode.
