Realme Neo 8 confirmed to feature IP66/IP68/IP69 rating, ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor, 8000 mAh battery and more

The Chinese manufacturer Realme will introduce its Realme Neo 8 smartphone and Realme Buds Air 8 in its home country, China, on January 22nd. The brand has already revealed a lot of details regarding these upcoming devices, and now some new details of the Realme Neo 8 are teased.

Realme Neo 8: New details shared

The smartphone is teased to arrive with IP66+IP68+IP69 full-level dust and water resistance, and crystal armor glass for more wear and scratch resistance. It features an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor that can be used to unlock the device even with wet hands. The device is equipped with an X-axis linear motor, a super-linear stereo speaker, dual-frequency GPS & tri-frequency Beidou & GPS enhanced antenna. It arrives with a multi-angle NFC and infrared remote control.

The device features a 165Hz Samsung Sky Display that comes with M14 flagship luminous material delivering rich details, ultra-clear display and more vibrant pictures. It comes with super-sensitive touch control that improves the touch response by 8ms. The Green Field Eye Protection offers lower flicker, lower brightness for better eye protection, and no fatigue even after long periods of use.

The Realme Neo 8 is equipped with an 8000 mAh battery that comes with a 5-year lifespan. It offers 1.5 hours of Douyin, 2 hours of Bilibili, 2 hours of online chatting, 2 hours of gaming, and still 51% battery will be remaining. It supports all-scenario bypass charging. The smartphone will run on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. It is claimed to receive 3 major version updates in 4 years and 4 years of system maintenance.
