Realme’s GT 8 series debut in China will be taking place tomorrow on the 21st of October 2025 and over the past few days, teaser updates were mostly shared concerning the pro model of the upcoming flagship series. Now, the specs and features of the standard model have also been pointed out, along with a few more details regarding the pro model.

Realme GT 8 – Teased Key Specs and Features
The newly-shared teaser updates reveal that the standard Realme GT 8 smartphone will also be introduced in three colors of White (AG frosted glass material), Navi (AG frosted glass material), and Green (paper-like recycled leather material), and the device will be equipped with a dual-core performance combination featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and the R1 gaming dedicated graphics chip. Notably, the Sky-High display will also be featured on the device supporting 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, and at the rear a 50MP ultra-bright periscope telephoto camera lens will be there. Furthermore, this periscope telephoto camera lens is revealed to support 3.5x optical zoom with ‘exceptional image quality’.
Speaking more, the same RICOH GR-branded camera features can be expected on the standard model too, and it will be offering RICOH GR’s five film tones (High Contrast Black and White, Positive, Negative, Standard, Monochrome), customizable RICOH GR camera modes (built-in 28mm and 40mm focal lengths, quick-swipe RICOH GR shutter style, immersive ViewFinder mode), and RICOH GR anti-glare main camera (developed with and certified by RICOH GR optical standards). Camera samples depicting these qualities have also been shared by the brand.
Realme GT 8 Pro – More Specs Again Shared
About the Realme GT 8 Pro, specs such as the Master-Level Symmetrical Dual Speakers (dual 1115E full-cavity speaker structure), Ultra-Wideband Pulse Motor (0816 AAC top-level motor with 4D vibration), Sky Communication System (supports n79 and 21 global 5G frequency bands), IP69 + IP68 + IP66 full-level waterproof triple certification, and the ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking (0.05-second) have been teased. Additionally, even with the 7000 mAh large battery, the device is revealed to offer a slimmer (8.2mm) and lighter form factor, and the body is thinner by 0.35mm when compared to its predecessor. Notably, a 15% increased battery life, 120W wired + 50W wireless fast charging, along with a bypass charging capability have also been teased for the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered flagship device.
Also, the Realme GT 8 Pro smartphone will be breaking its cover with the Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 custom skin out of the box, and the brand has promised 5 years of system updates and maintenance on the device.
