Realme GT 8 Pro teased to feature Ricoh GR anti-glare main camera

Just a few days back, Realme officially announced that its Realme x Ricoh Imaging Strategic Partnership Launch Conference will be conducted on 14th October, and now just a day before this conference, the brand has teased some new details about the Ricoh camera system that will be used in the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro model.

Realme GT 8 Pro: Ricoh main camera system

Realme GT 8 Pro model will be equipped with Ricoh GR anti-glare main camera and arrive with Ricoh GR optical standard certification. It is revealed that the Ricoh GR team has strictly inspected and passed the professional camera standard inspection for anti-glare, low distortion, high resolution, and low color difference.

The 7P high lens element and 5-layer ultra-low reflection coating effectively suppresses ghosting and stray light. It comes with 0.2% low reflectivity. The super light lens glass on the main camera and double-layer AR coating further increase the amount of light entering, allowing 97% light transmittance.

The brand has also shared how Ricoh GR III and Ricoh GR IIIx tell different street photography stories with 28mm and 40mm focal lengths, respectively, ensuring clear images even when in action. Realme GT 8 Pro is compatible with the Ricoh GR’s full-frame equivalent focal lengths of 28mm and 40mm, paired with an immersive viewfinder mode, and embodies the Ricoh GR’s street photography spirit.

More details related to the camera system will be revealed tomorrow at the conference. Realme GT 8 series will be launching this month in China, and the pre-orders have already started in the country.
