Realme C83 5G with 6.8″ HD+ LCD Display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, 7,000mAh Battery Announced in India

A new C series smartphone from Realme called the Realme C83 5G has now been launched in India as the successor to the Realme C73 5G.

Realme C83 5G – Specs and Features

The phone is powered by Dimensity 6300 SoC, and as per Realme, the phone has recorded an AnTuTu score of 5,60,000+ and runs on Realme UI 7 based on Android 16. Taking more about this smartphone, it features a 6.8″ LCD HD+ display offering a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and 900 nits of HBM brightness.

It comes with 6GB of physical RAM and also offers up to 12GB of virtual RAM via Smart RAM expansion, paired with up to 128GB of internal storage.

The phone packs a 7,000mAh battery with 15W fast wired charging, reverse wired charging, and also bypass charging support. To provide better cooling, Realme has equipped this smartphone with a 5334mm² Airflow VC (Vapour Chamber) cooling system.

Durability-wise, it has IP64 dust and water resistance and has passed the MIL-STD 810H certification, which makes it one of the rugged smartphones out there. It also comes with Wet Hand Touch support and Speaker Cleaner (clears dust and water by sound vibrations)

At the rear, it has a 13MP main camera, while the front houses a 5MP selfie shooter. The phone also supports dual-view video mode, which allows both the rear and front cameras to be used at the same time.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual SIM. Lastly, the phone weighs 212 grams, measures 166.3 × 78.1 × 8.4mm, and supports 300% Ultra Volume.

Pricing and Availability

The open sales will begin starting tomorrow, March 7th, 2026, at 12 PM, in Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green colour options. Regarding the availability, it is going to be available via Realme India, Flipkart, and other authorised retailers.
