Realme 16 5G confirmed to feature a 7000 mAh battery, industry’s first camera bar with selfie mirror and IP69 rating
Yesterday, the microsite for the upcoming Realme 16 5G smartphone was made live on Flipkart, confirming that the device will launch soon in India, while a few of its design details were also revealed.
The company has now shared a few more features of this smartphone via Flipkart.
Realme 16 5G: New features teased
The device will arrive in two colour options: Air Black and Air White. The Air White variant features industry-first air design and a shiny, gleaming wings texture. It weighs 183g and comes with an 8.1mm thin body.
The smartphone boasts the segment’s first camera bar with a selfie mirror so that users can take rear-camera selfies confidently. You can take HD groufies (group selfies) with sharp skin textures and precise framing. It is backed by a 7000 mAh battery and supports 60W fast charging. It comes with 6-year battery health, AI Smart Charging and AI Smart Power Saving features. With this battery capacity, users can enjoy 21.67 hours of endless WhatsApp chatting, 22.86 hours of unlimited reel scrolling, 22.06 hours of YouTube streaming and 143.27 hours of non-stop music playback.
The company has promised 6-year Fluency Protection with instant app loading and smooth multitasking. The smartphone sports a 6.57-inch display that offers 4200 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM Dimming, 1.07 billion colours and 3000Hz instantaneous sampling rate.
It is equipped with dual stereo speakers with 300% volume, 6050mm2 Airflow VC cooling and boasts an IP69 rating. It runs on Realme UI 7.0, and the brand has promised 3 years of Android OS updates and 4 years of Android security patches.
