Realme 16 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G Launched in Vietnam: Prices, Specifications, and Availability
Realme had already announced that the Realme 16 5G series will be launched in the Vietnamese market on January 29th, 2026, and as the day arrived, the Realme 16 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G have now been launched in Vietnam. Of the two, the Realme 16 Pro 5G has already been launched in India, and its specs remain unchanged.

Realme 16 5G specs and features
The Realme 16 5G comes with a slim “Air Design” body built around a flat frame and gently curved corners, measuring approximately 158.30 × 75.13 × 8.10mm and weighing around 183g, while the Aurora Wings rear finish adds a colour-shifting blue-to-purple gradient that changes with lighting.
At the back, a horizontal camera bar helps the phone rest evenly on flat surfaces and houses a 50MP Sony IMX852 portrait camera paired with a 2MP monochrome sensor. The bar also integrates a selfie mirror, with the LED flash positioned around its outer ring, while the front features a 50MP portrait camera offering an 86° field of view. Imaging is handled through LumaColor processing for natural colour output, along with AI Edit Genie for basic photo adjustments directly from the gallery.
On the front, the device sports a 6.57″ FHD+ (2372 × 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a 93% screen-to-body ratio, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling. It reaches 1000 nits standard brightness, 1400 nits HBM, and up to 4200 nits peak brightness, and is protected by DT Star D+ glass.
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset paired with either 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, alongside support for memory card expansion and USB OTG, all running on realme UI 7.0.
It has a battery with a typical capacity of 7000mAh (rated 6830mAh), supported by 60W fast charging along with wired reverse charging, while an internal “Aircraft Structure” layout with a high-density graphite battery allows the large capacity to fit within the slim chassis.
For sustained performance and durability, the Realme 16 5G uses a 6050mm² vapour chamber cooling system and carries an IP66/68/69/69K rating, offering resistance against dust and high-pressure water exposure.

In Vietnam, the Realme 16 5G starts at VND 11,490,000 (approximately ₹40,564.90) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The higher 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at VND 12,490,000 (around ₹44,095.35). The smartphone is offered in White Swan and Black Cloud colour options and is now listed for sale via thegioididong Vietnamese online retailer.
Realme 16 Pro 5G Specs and Features
It features a 6.78″ FHD+ (1272×2772 pixels) AMOLED display, a 144Hz refresh rate, and up to a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It delivers a peak local brightness of up to 6500 nits. Normal brightness reaches 600 nits, while High Brightness Mode goes up to 1400 nits. The screen is protected by AGC DT Star D+ glass and offers a pixel density of 450 PPI.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max 5G chipset, paired with an octa-core CPU and an Arm Mali-G615 GPU. The device comes with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Memory expansion via microSD card is not supported, while USB OTG is available.
The phone packs a 7000mAh battery (6830mAh rated) and supports 80W Super Fast Charging and wired reverse charging.
