Poco M7 Plus 5G Confirmed to Come with 6.9″ 144Hz Display and TÜV Rheinland Triple Certification for Eye Protection

Poco M7 Plus 5G has already been announced and is set to break cover in the Indian market on 13th August 2025, featuring a 7,000 mAh silicon carbon battery and positioned in the under-₹15K segment. Yesterday, only the battery specifications were revealed, and now more details have appeared on Flipkart’s microsite.

According to the updated information, the Poco M7 Plus 5G will feature 18W reverse charging technology, enabling it to charge a range of Android and iOS smartphones, as well as IoT devices.

It will sport a large 6.9-inch display, claimed to be the biggest in its segment, designed for an immersive viewing experience ideal for movies, gaming, and marathons. The screen will offer up to a 144Hz refresh rate, the highest in its category, ensuring smoother swipes, seamless transitions, and ultra-fluid visuals. Additionally, the display comes with TÜV Rheinland triple certification for eye protection, reducing blue light and ensuring a flicker-free experience to safeguard eyesight.

This includes TÜV Low Blue Light, TÜV Flicker-Free, and TÜV Circadian certifications, aimed at lowering eye strain, minimising discomfort from flicker, and adjusting blue light emission based on the time of day to support healthy sleep patterns. As per rumours, it is expected to feature similar specifications to those of the Redmi 15 5G, which is also set to launch in the Indian market on 19th August.
