POCO C85x 5G Teased on Flipkart with ‘Khiladi is Coming’ Tagline, May Feature a 32MP Main Camera

POCO is preparing to expand its entry-level C series portfolio in India, as a new microsite on Flipkart confirms that the company will soon announce the POCO C85x 5G. This appears to be the first time POCO is introducing an “X” suffix within its C series smartphones, indicating a possible new variant under the affordable range.

The Flipkart landing page shows the tagline “Khiladi is Coming” and features Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar holding the upcoming smartphone. The teaser image reveals the rear design of the device, showing a pill-shaped camera module that is raised from the body and is located at the top left corner. Further, it shows two circular cutouts with outer rings, housed inside the camera deco.

Adding more to this, just below the secondary lens, there appear to be some markings. While the text is not clear, upon zooming in and giving it a closer look suggests it is “32MP.” However, this detail cannot be confirmed at this stage. If the handset does feature a 32MP primary camera sensor, it would likely be positioned below the POCO C85 5G, which comes with a 50MP main camera.

Though the marketing posters listed on the Microsite hint that the POCO C85x 5G could be a battery-centric smartphone and will not be a thick smartphone, as it uses phrases like “Why Large Battery is Needed”, “Repeat. Need a large battery” and “But large Battery=Thick Phone? Not Anymore.” Adding more to this, the page highlights the performance of the POCO C75 5G, stating that the device, launched in December 2024, has crossed 3 million units in sales.

Apart from these details, the microsite does not reveal any specifications as such. More information about this smartphone is expected to be updated on the Flipkart listing in the coming days.
