Poco C85 5G officially teased to launch soon in India with a 50MP AI camera; Flipkart availability confirmed

Poco launched the Poco C85 4G in the Philippines back in September, and now its 5G variant is gearing up for an India launch. A teaser posted on X offers a quick glimpse of the upcoming smartphone, and a dedicated microsite is already live on Flipkart, confirming its availability on the platform.

Here is more to it.

Poco C85 5G’s Flipkart Microsite now live

The microsite shows a partial view of the camera module, revealing a circular housing with rounded edges (Similar to the Poco C85 4G). It confirms a dual-camera setup accompanied by a circular LED flash, and the engraving inside the module highlights a 50MP AI Camera. Beyond this, not much else is officially visible, but the design closely resembles the Poco C85 4G.

Rumours say that the Poco C85 5G is likely to come as a rebranded Redmi 15C 5G. This was somewhat confirmed when we spotted it on the Google Play Console with the Dimensity 6300 SoC, and even the model number of the Poco C85 5G showed similarities with the Redmi 15C 5G.

The Google Play Console listing showed the device running Android 16 Beta, whereas the Redmi 15C 5G launched with Android 15, and the Indian microsite for the Redmi device confirms it will ship with Android 15 layered with HyperOS 2. So for now, it’s unclear whether the Poco C85 5G will launch with Android 16 or Android 15.

With the microsite now live, we can expect more official details to surface soon.
