OPPO Reno 15 Series Officially Confirmed to Launch in Three Variants; Amazon and Flipkart Availability Revealed

The confusion surrounding how many models will launch in India under the Reno 15 series has finally been put to rest. According to an official press release received from Oppo, the company has confirmed that the Reno 15 lineup in India will include three models: the Reno 15 5G, Reno 15 Pro 5G, and Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G. Additionally, the official microsite for the Reno 15 series is now live on Oppo India, Amazon, and Flipkart, confirming the phones’ availability through these platforms.

Oppo Reno 15 Series India Specs Revealed

The Reno15 Series features AMOLED displays across all variants, offering FHD+ resolution, 10-bit colour depth, and adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz to ensure a smooth and power-efficient viewing experience. The Reno15 Pro (matches with the Reno 15 Pro 5G China) leads the lineup with a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel framed by ultra-thin 1.15mm bezels on all four sides, achieving an impressive 95.5% screen-to-body ratio and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It delivers 600 nits of default brightness, which can boost up to 1,800 nits for outdoor visibility, with peak brightness reaching as high as 3,600 nits.

The Reno15 Pro Mini (Looks Similar to the Reno 15 5G China) features a more compact 6.32-inch AMOLED display with bezels as slim as 1.6mm, resulting in a 93.35% screen-to-body ratio. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i along with AGC DT-STAR D+, and matches the Pro model with 600 nits default brightness, up to 1,800 nits outdoors, and peak brightness of 3,600 nits.

Meanwhile, the Reno15 (looks similar to the Reno 15C 5G China) comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and brightness that can reach up to 1,200 nits in bright conditions.

In terms of design, each variant in the Reno15 Series draws inspiration from natural elements and is crafted using industry-first HoloFusion Technology, reflecting OPPO’s precision craftsmanship. For the first time, a three-dimensional layered visual effect has been applied to an integrated one-piece sculpted glass back, creating enhanced depth, texture, and dynamic light interaction. This is complemented by OPPO’s Dynamic Stellar Ring Design, which uses a square-ring camera composition that produces a soft halo-like glow when light strikes the surface. The camera module is seamlessly integrated into the back panel, giving it a cohesive, sculpted appearance rather than a protruding attachment.

The Reno15 Pro is available in Sunset Gold, inspired by the golden hues of sunset beaches that transform the ocean into a sheet of liquid gold, and Cocoa Brown, which reflects the warmth of tea and coffee. The Reno15 Pro Mini retains the Cocoa Brown option while adding a playful Glacier White finish that features a three-dimensional ribbon pattern achieved through HoloFusion Technology. Completing the lineup, the Reno15 is offered in Glacier White, Twilight Blue, and Aurora Blue colour options, drawing inspiration from night skies and aurora-like phenomena.

For the first time in the Reno lineup, OPPO introduces a Pro Mini variant to meet the growing demand in India for compact and easy-to-use smartphones. The Reno15 Pro Mini brings the brand’s premium design language into a palm-friendly form factor, featuring a 6.32-inch display, a thickness of 7.99mm, and a weight of approximately 187g, offering a balance between compact size and flagship-grade aesthetics.

Durability in the Reno15 Series is built around OPPO’s All-Round Armour Body, which combines Sponge Bionic Cushioning with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame. Inspired by the natural structure of sea sponges, the Sponge Bionic Cushioning acts as a shock-absorbing internal structure that distributes impact forces internally to protect delicate components during accidental drops. This internal bionic structure is reinforced by an aerospace-grade aluminium frame, a material widely used in aviation for its high strength-to-weight ratio. Compared to plastic frames, it delivers a 200% higher yield strength and improves drop resistance by 36%, enhancing durability without adding unnecessary bulk.

Despite this reinforced structure, the Reno15 Series maintains a slim profile across all models. The Reno15 Pro measures just 7.65mm in thickness and weighs approximately 205g. The Reno15 measures 7.77mm in thickness in the Twilight Blue and Glacier White variants, while the Aurora Blue variant measures 7.89mm, with all versions weighing around 197g.

Beyond design and build, the Reno15 Series also carries the highest IP ratings for dust and water resistance. The devices are certified with IP66 for splash protection, IP68 for survival in freshwater immersion up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes, and IP69 for resistance against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets up to 80°C. Additionally, the smartphones feature a platinum-coated USB port designed to resist corrosion, further enhancing long-term durability.
