Oppo has now launched the Oppo K13x 5G in its home country, China, and it is quite different from the version available in India. The variant released in China is essentially a rebranded Oppo A5 Vitality Edition, which was also launched in the country earlier.

The Oppo K13x 5G features a 6.67-inch flat LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1604 × 720 pixels, offering a screen-to-body ratio of 89.9%. It supports 60Hz/90Hz/120Hz refresh rate switching, up to 120Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits, ensuring smooth visuals and decent outdoor readability. The panel displays 16.7 million colours (8-bit) with colour accuracy covering 83% DCI-P3 in vivid mode and 100% sRGB in natural mode. Furthermore, it has a slim design at 7.76mm thickness, weighs 194g, and carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with an octa-core CPU (2 × 2.4GHz + 6 efficiency cores) paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 1072MHz. It comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, available in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB variants, with expandable storage support.
The rear has a dual rear camera system featuring a 50MP main wide-angle camera and a 2MP monochrome lens, supporting up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter.
In the Oppo K13x 5G, you get a 5800mAh battery (typical, 5640mAh rated) that supports 45W SuperVOOC Flash Charge, along with 33W UFCS fast charging compatibility and 13.5W PD charging.
On the connectivity front, the K13x 5G supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi Display, Bluetooth with SBC, AAC, LDAC, aptX, aptX HD, USB 2.0, and dual-SIM (Nano-SIM + Nano-USIM) cards. Supported network bands include 2G GSM/CDMA, 3G WCDMA, 4G LTE FDD/TDD, and 5G NR (n1/n5/n8/n28A/n41/n77/n78), with full compatibility for China Mobile, Unicom, Telecom, and Broadcast VoLTE.
For security and usability, the device offers a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner along with AI face recognition. Other sensors include a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, an e-compass, an accelerometer, and the side fingerprint module.

The Oppo K13x 5G is priced at CNY 799 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, CNY 899 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, and CNY 999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It is available for purchase via the official Oppo China website in two colour options – Black and Diamond White.
